The I grade students are accepted to school on the basis of interviews. And the II-X grade students are accepted based on the results of a written exam (the exam covers all the subjects, which students will study in the class).

After the exam and interview the contract for educational services will be signed between the student’s official representative and the school.

Necessary documentation for the student enrollment in Georgian-American School:

 

1. The original of the birth certificate (with the personal number of the child);
2. Notary verified two copies of the birth certificate;
3. 2 photos 3x4;
4. Medical report;
5. Photocopy of the identification cards of parents;
6. Employment letter of parents.

Georgian-American School prepares students for the internationally recognized Cambridge language assessment exams provided by the British Council, taken annually at the end of the school year.

Summer exchange programs in USA and Great Britain.

Georgian-American School offers the opportunity for students to participate in a one-month during summer, improving their English in USA and/or Great Britain.

Additional Subjects- “Math for fun” and “Science” in English.

Math For Fun is a part of our educational program, introduced from the III grade, and includes arithmetic, math for fun and logical mathematics, all taught in English. 

Science is a part of our educational program, taught from grades III-VII, and includes the study of general science in English.

Academic Clubs:

Georgian-American School distinguishes itself by offering a wide variety of academically focused clubs and activities, including Math, English, Physics, Chemistry and Information Technology clubs. The Georgian -American School Math, for example, club begins from the 5th grade, allowing students to participate in intensive Math classes, competitions and Olympiads. Other clubs offer similar opportunities in English, physics, chemistry and IT.

Math Club:

Georgian-American School distinguishes itself by offering a math club, beginning from the 5th grade, allowing students to participate in intensive Math classes, competitions and Olympiads. Similar clubs are available for other academically focused subjects, including Math, English, Physics, Chemistry and Information Technology.

Foreign Language Studies:

 English and Russian are taught starting from the first grade.

 Starting in grade 6 students are able to choose between German and French as their third foreign language to study.

Arts and Sports Clubs:

Georgian-American School offers the following arts and sports related clubs, known here as circles. Students will be able to choose one of the circles described below.

Arts Circles: Two varieties of dance clubs (modern and Georgian-National), theatre, music and art.

Sport Circles: Chess, swimming, karate, and tennis.

Age limit:

I-XI graders will be accepted based on the results of a written exam.

Each class allows for a maximum of 15 students.

Daily starting and ending times: 09:00 - 15:00

Meals  twice a day.

Georgian-American school employs a full time pediatrician, psychologist and when necessary a speech therapist.

Students are provided with one complete set of school uniform.

Georgian-American school students have the option of safe, insured transportation to and from school.

In addition to the elementary and primary school programme, Georgian-American contains a kindergarten for 3-5 years students, which offers modern teaching innovation method, individual attention, and a safe environment.

Our teaching programme aims to develop students’ communicative and critical thinking skills and their mental and physical abilities using American and European teaching methods.

Meals (in the kindergarten):  the children are provided with meals three times per day.

Price Reduction: Families with two or more students qualify for a 10% reduction in school tuition.
