GAS & GAHS at the International Model UN Conference in New York
Representatives of the Georgian-American School (GAS) and Georgian-American High School (GAHS) attended the International Model United Nations Conference in New York.
During the event, students actively engaged in live diplomatic processes, participating in debates and negotiations, drafting and presenting resolutions. They had the opportunity to meet with UN diplomats, as well as leaders from political and business circles.
The conference included:
Official opening and closing ceremonies, held at the UN Headquarters;
Committee sessions featuring debates, negotiations, and the resolution drafting process;
Discussions on major international challenges;
Social events and networking opportunities with peers from around the world.
In addition to the conference, a special program was organized exclusively for GAS and GAHS students, which included a tour of New York City's landmarks.
