The Georgian-American School successfully hosted its annual Model United Nations (MUN), a three-day educational event designed to enhance students' diplomatic and leadership skills.
The first day focused on committee assignments, in-depth research on key topics, and the preparation of country positions.
On the second day, participants engaged in structured debates, presented their positions, exchanged questions, and began drafting the initial versions of resolutions.
The third and final day featured the official presentation of resolutions, voting on proposals, the introduction of new initiatives, and concluding remarks.
At the end of the event, all participants were awarded certificates in recognition of their efforts. The MUN received high praise and further deepened students' interest in foreign policy, international relations, and the workings of the United Nations.
Special recognition goes to our Student Government President, Anano Kenchadze, for expertly presiding over the General Assembly and playing a key role in organizing the event.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to teacher Megi Talakhadze, whose dedication was instrumental to the project's success.
The Georgian-American School remains committed to providing students with opportunities to engage in international educational programs, fostering a global perspective and leadership skills.
Congratulations to all participants, and heartfelt thanks to the organizers for making this an unforgettable experience!
