Tbilisi’s Bike Mayor, Mar Mikelidze at GAS

On March 24, as part of project-based learning (Civics), the Georgian-American School welcomed Tbilisi’s Bike Mayor, Mar Mikelidze, to discuss healthy lifestyles.

She spoke with GAS 7th-grade students and the Eco-Club about the importance of staying active and how physical activity plays a key role in maintaining good health.

A major focus was how cycling impacts both physical and mental well-being. Mar Mikelidze explained how both kids and adults can use bicycles as a comfortable and safe mode of transportation. She also covered essential safety rules for cycling.

The interactive meeting gave students the opportunity to share their own experiences and thoughts. A big thanks to Mar Mikelidze for an inspiring and insightful session! 🚴‍♂️✨
